Lessons & Prices
Child Lessons
We offer both individual private lessons and lessons for small groups and all lessons are an hour long. Before each lesson children can learn to groom, pick out ponies feet and tack up. This helps to build confidence and bonding with the pony.
We will always ensure children up to 16 years of age always wear a body protector during their riding lessons - after the age of 16 it is at the riders discretion if they choose to wear a body protector - these are provided for your use free of charge at the yard.
Child Group Lessons are £27.50 per hour, paid by cash or card on arrival.
All lessons have a 48 hour cancellation policy.
Adult Lessons
We understand that learning to ride a horse as an adult can be a daunting experience. Over the years Christine and her team have successfully guided and supported many men and women through this process. From the initial introduction of simply being around a horse, learning to feel comfortable handling and grooming through to tacking-up and finding 'your seat', the team at Newark Equestrian will provide the support and guidance needed... and of course progress is always at a pace that is right for you.
For the more advanced rider we offer specific lessons to support personal objectives. Lessons can be booked on a horse belonging to the school or your own. In addition to riding lessons, we also run regular stable management courses for adults, or this can be arranged on an individual basis.
Adult Group Lessons are £32.50 per hour, paid by cash or card on arrival.
All lessons have a 48 hour cancellation policy.
Private Lessons
We also offer private one to one lessons:
£37.50 per hour with Dannie or Emma
£42.50 per hour with Christine
SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS
1 Hour semi-private lesson is £34.50
Payment is by cash or card on arrival. All lessons have a 48 hour cancellation policy.

Please note we have a strict 48 hour cancellation policy for all lessons and activities. If you cancel with more than 48 hours’ notice there will be no charge. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, and it is not possible to re-book within 7 days, then payment is due in full.
